Had a Husqvarna that just refused point blank to start on the kicker, hated that bike but loved it beyond belief all at the same time.
Kickstarts, the best way to start a bike, the worst way NOT to start a bike!!
If you havent seen these guys in action you are missing a treat. This is quality film of the Ken Fox Wall of Death Troupe doing what they do. The only thing the film doesnt capture is the awesome smell of hot engines and exhaust fumes, it doesnt get much better than this!
Michael Rutter wins the 2011 Macau GP on his Riders Ducati 1098 for a recordbreaking 7th time.
Rutter won by over 4 seconds from team mate Martin Jessop, TT hero Ian Hutchinson, returning to form after horrific leg injuries, took a well deserved third.
You really have to want to win this, prize money is relatively very little, the 'track' runs through the city and is lined with armco and concrete with no room for error, Like the Isle of Man and road racing in general, you gotta be tough to race here.
Enjoy this excellent film of the event from Sergio Perez
Probably the most famous sidecar footage of all time, Webster & Hewitt get it all crossed up at the Assen TT, pretty spectacular though! why arent sidecars on TV anymore?
"A bike should look good on its own......... but it's incomplete until a person rides it"
Shinya Kimura, owner of Chabott engineering, is a living legend in the world of custom motorcycles, more than just a bike customiser though, referring to himself as Coachbuilder but operating more like a sculptor, his bikes are nothing less than original.
Often described as ‘rolling works of art’, Kimura’s bikes are a refreshing departure in the world of custom built motorcycles with no fibre glass and usually very little paint.
Using anything from ancient Excelsiors, classic Triumphs and Harleys, a modern Ducati superbike and even a Honda Cub, Kimura’s creations are always diverse and inventive but at the same time instantly recognisable as product of Chabott Engineering .
